This role focuses on structuring, managing, and scaling projects as viable businesses by bridging technology
teams, researchers, and external partners.
Responsible for:
● Support structuring and managing B2G projects in collaboration with UN agencies, international NGOs,
and government counterparts
● Track and organize progress of ongoing and pipeline projects, coordinating inputs from technical,
research, and field teams
● Facilitate collaboration with research institutions and universities in Japan and overseas
● Promote partnerships with private-sector companies (technology firms, consultancies,
infrastructure-related companies, etc.)
● Explore and promote B2B service opportunities within the Climate & Health domain
● Work closely with internal technical teams to translate complex concepts into business-oriented materials
● Support partner and donor communications, including meeting coordination and issue framing
Required Skills:
● Strong interest in climate change, health, infrastructure, international development or related fields
● Ability to coordinate and manage multi-stakeholder projects

Climate change–driven hazards such as flooding, droughts, and environmental degradation are
increasingly amplifying the risk of mosquito-borne and water-borne infectious diseases.
We are expanding a Climate & Health initiative that integrates drone, satellite, climate, and
epidemiological data to support operational risk analysis and decision-making.
To strengthen this effort, we are recruiting talent in the following two domains.
Open Position①｜Epidemiology Specialist
Responsibilities:
● Analyze relationships between climate/environmental drivers (rainfall, flooding, temperature, water
conditions) and infectious disease trends
● Design and review disease risk assessment frameworks (e.g., malaria)
● Support analytical design for field pilots, primarily in Africa
● Collaborate with AI and remote-sensing teams on indicator definition and validation
● Provide epidemiological input for reports to donors and public-sector partners
Required Skills:
● Background in epidemiology, public health, or global health
● Practical experience or strong foundation in epidemiological/statistical analysis
● Japanese proficiency sufficient to collaborate with Japan-based technical teams

SORA Technology is seeking a CTO candidate who will lead our technology strategy and oversee product
development and R&D to address complex challenges at the intersection of drones, AI, and international
development.
This role is responsible for building our technical foundation, managing engineering teams, ensuring product
quality, and mitigating technical risks as we expand globally across Africa and Asia.

● Technology Strategy & Architecture
Define the overall technology strategy and develop technical roadmaps

Position Overview:
The Agriculture Drone Business Specialist (Tanzania) will spearhead the expansion of SORA Technology’s
drone-based agricultural services across the country. This role combines strategic business development
with hands-on field engagement, driving adoption of innovative drone solutions among farms, cooperatives, and agribusinesses.
The successful candidate will lead local market promotion, identify and secure new partnerships, and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem. Working closely with the Agriculture Business Strategy Development Team inside SORA Technology, they will translate market insights into actionable strategies to optimize service delivery, pricing, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the promotion and business expansion of SORA’s drone-based agricultural services in
Tanzania.
